'Auntie Gee’s Introduction Service’ is a humorous look at the arranged marriage process from the point of view of Sunita, a contemporary Indian girl. She thinks she’s more than capable of making her own choice of marriage partner, thank you – except, you don’t say no to your mum and aunties, even if you are a contemporary Indian girl! Maybe her family have a point too, since so many of them have been happily married themselves that way? However, Sunita’s friend, Zoe, suggests ‘auntie internet’ as an alternative and they decide to test-run the two side-by-side. After all, what have they got to lose, other than being single?
